Stopping a workout : the pause button

As I am using the Workout screen on a regular basis sometimes I have to to pause the current workout step but as I said previously the Pause button is bugged and useless. Instead I use the Stop button.

Anyone with the same experience ?

I use the workout screen usually once a week or more and I have not experienced any issued with the pause button.
