28.20 - Powermeter failure during Strava segment

Just did a segment this evening. From the moment the segment started to the end of the segment there was no power-data recorded (the datafield for the powermeter also only showed 0W). Cadence (also coming from the PM) was recorded without problems. After I finished the segment the powermeter showed normal values again.

So I guess it must be a software bug (bug reports in the beta section are already closed). I checked the data also on Strava: power failed exactly during the segment (took me about 14min) and is flawless before and after.

the PM is a P2M NGEco if that matters.

    try to remove the sensor, turn the device off completely and turn on and repair via ANT+ again and try. i had no issues with NG and 840 with Strava segments.

    Edit: Forget the above, I don't have segments downloaded to the Edge, so the above really has nothing to do with your issue... Maybe I can test in a few days

    I haven´t had issues as well before. But I don´t do that much segments. I even reconnected the PM during the segment with no effect. And as I had cadence reading it was connected.

    As the Powerfailure was exactly between segment start and end I highly assume it is a software issue. But I will try again on one of my next rides, don´t really do segments that often....

    the inride reconnection is not the same as the complete sensor removing, turning off and on and repairing.

    I know, but that was the only thing I could do during the segment. I will do a complete new pairing for the next rides. But still: don´t think that was the issue somehow.

    Maybe someone can test with 1040 and 28.20? I will not have time to do so till the weekend. Power information is quite important during segments for me....

    I just starred a segment and tested, but no issues for me, with a Sigeyi AXO
