Same version for beta and release updates?

Both release and beta versions currently out are numbered 28.20, isn’t that odd?

they released the file to the beta members first, and it looked good and released the same file to the wide public. so the difference between a firmware beta or public is only which groups get it

camillo.vezzoli As others have stated, this is the same release. The final beta release in a given update cycle will be the release candidate that will go to all users. If you are not enrolled in the beta, then you will never receive a beta update.
