Just updated to 28.20. Where is the function toggle Virtual Partner off for courses.
It was one of the changes in Beta 28.11 but there is no mention of it in the change log for the full release of 28.20

I just came back from a ride and I found it. I was about to update my post but you beat me to it
Also this is now a global on/off switch, you don't need to toggle it for each ride! I think VP would be better suited under the training menu though.

An option to enable/disable Virtual Partner was introduced in beta version 28.11 and is available in version 28.20.
While a course is active, you may swipe down from the top of the Edge to access the 'Widget' menu.
Swipe left/right to find the 'Controls' widget and the 'Virtual Partner' option, then use the toggle to enable/disable Virtual Partner.
