Lot of freezes with last version 27.14

Yes, starting with version 25.xx

Yes,  I have noticed some random freezes during use as well. It's quite annoying.

I already had freeze in the past, but they were more frequent and lasting less time.

The only solution to solve these freezes was to reset the GPS unit.

But come on, it's only been 3 months. I hope we don't have to reset the unit every 3 months due to some firmware upgrade ?

Garmin should solve this issue (I can give you my config files, the content of my garmin, anything that can help Garmin debug it)

What do you mean when you write “restart the GPS device” ? ? Edge reboot ? I make at least one run every day ( and most of the week two each - to/from work) - after each run I turn off the Edge - I don't see any reason for the Edge to be in a sleep/power saving state for 8h. Despite running it every day, I still experience at least one Edge hang every day - it looks like I press the button on the Edge Remote to change the data screen and nothing completely happens - only to have the Edge change to the next screen after a few/some seconds ( and sometimes to a few more if I pressed the remote a few times )

I have freezes too during workouts, usual it is 5s freezes where the display isn't updated.. The count down bips for interval start/stop is still working. After the 5s the display becomes live again and interval time jump forward by 5s
For me this started with 27.14

Same here. My 1040 never had any issues, until 27.14. It regularly just freezes when swiping a screen, or even when finishing the ride. It's quite unworkable this way. 

Come on Garmin, fix this please.

Also never had any issue until 27.14. Now I have several freezes every ride. Quite annoying to be honest...

Same for me. No issues with lastest versions, but this version seems to be buggy. As other says it requires a restart to continue working. Sometimes it freeze starting, other (two freezes until now) in the map view.

Add me to the list. I've noticed some random freezing. Nothing to the point of killing the unit entirely but it is annoying.

I also noticed today quite a few times where the timer scream with frees up and then jump forward X amount of seconds.

When I overlay some data onto video I noticed that the data information and the time did not lineup properly.

It was very easy to spot especially with the DI2 gear selection.

I am wondering if the freezing has anything to do with the mismatch of data recording.
