1040 after 27.14 can't install data fields. Hellp?!

Hello

In data fields section I have a list of not installed data fields, I try to install and it kind of dose it, but instant flick reverts back from setup to install. it's with all of them.

I did reset device fully app to, restart phone... uhhh like even from express its not working. well brick on connect IQ from 27.14

This is a problem with the mobile app GC IQ.

Do the following:
Turn off your Edge
Close the app GC IQ on your phone (see attatchments how to close!)
Turn on your Edge
Run the „normal“ Garmin Connect on your phone
Let the Edge sync with the GC
Turn on the app CG IQ and it will boot from the scratch.

If necessary do the whole process a second time.

Hi thanks for your response. Well I did as you said, but no luck there. It looks like when I try run installation process and it will complete but then remove it instantly. I'm not sure what to think... like directories are different and it's removing them. Feels like they did copy pasta from 1050 to 1040 and directories are messed up or the paths are different, basically go figure.

Well I think its dead end without software fix... we just have to wait. Can you send support email too so they start flair this problem?

Already sent. Can do nothing but wait..... It take weeks to receive reply and normally they are nonsense....

Right solution Is this fix is working! Replace this Garmin/Apps folder with yours, remove yours to pc then copy from link in to directory back... enjoy!

I have the same problem.

Even after initializing Garmin and using express, it is the same, and even if I install CIQ before connecting bluetooth/wifi, it does not install.

I just have to wait for the new firmware.

Hello. Thank you for your answer.
I did as you said, but the result is the same.
I closed the smartphone app, rebooted the smartphone, and ran it.
In addition. I deleted the smartphone app and reinstalled it. After reconnecting Garmin, it works the same. No app is installed except CIQ.
I guess I'll have to wait until Garmin is updated.

Did you replace files in Garmin/Apps directory from link I posted?
