Mass sensor disconnection after ~7h – Edge 1040, FW 27.14

Devices:

Edge 1040 (FW: 27.14)
Speed Sensor 2 (FW: 4.1)

Issue:
During a long ride (~7 hours), the device started beeping repeatedly. It displayed multiple messages indicating that all sensors and accessories had been disconnected.
Shortly afterward, reconnection messages began appearing, and most devices automatically reconnected.

However, the Speed Sensor 2 did not reconnect automatically and remained disconnected until I manually reconnected it via the Sensors menu.

Notes:

All connections are ANT+
No user interaction triggered the disconnects
Battery status on Speed Sensor 2 was reported as OK
Weather conditions were stable (no excess humidity or electrical discharges)
Similar mass disconnection behavior was occasionally observed on earlier firmware versions

+1 to this issue. Was on a long 6-7 hour ride today and same thing happened. About 1.5 hours in, starting out after a stop my Wahoo speed sensor went into a constant loop of disconnecting/connecting. Later on in the ride, it stabilized a little with the disconnect/connect cycles going longer, but never went away completely. There were also a couple cycles of pretty much all sensors connecting/disconnecting. Late in the ride, the Varia radar also went into a loop of connecting/disconnecting. I'm also on 27.14.

This happens regularly with me on my long rides. It only happens if my Varia radar is powered on which I sometimes leave off for very long rides until it gets dark when I turn it on again. Then it happens one or more times during the rest of the ride. I have both the camera and non-camera version and it happens with both.
