Power Meter connects but shows no numbers in data fields

My Favero Assiomo duo power meter connects to the garmin 1040 but shows no data with version 27.14. Worked fine with the previous version.

    This happened to me after an update a year or so back. (Top tip: don't install updates just before races, as I did...). To be honest, I can't remember which solution worked, but I was just...) able to sort it out before the start. I think I tried removing / re-adding the pedals, and a full shutdown / restart, and that one of those worked - but I can't remember which.

    I have the same issue since some updates back...

    Workaround - before the Tour/Workout-Start

    1. Disconnect the device

    2. Connect the device

    It works for me...but very annoying.

    I don't think, that this gets fixed...unfortunatly
