Screenshots in Edge 1040

Hi, 

I would like to know how to capture screenshots with my Edge 1040, where to get the screenshots captured and how to transfer the screenshots without having to manually connect the 1040 to a computer ? 

By the way, I have a problem when I connect to my Garmin Connect account online:  https://connect.garmin.com/modern/home. I am able to connect to my account but I can no longer use the main menu on the left (see screenshot). This issue is quite recent (a month ago)

I am using Chrome Version 109.0.5414.120 (Build officiel) (64 bits) as a navigator

    You can enable screenshot mode in the settings. The details are explained in Capturing a Screenshot on an Edge Device. To view the screenshots you need to connect your Edge to a computer. The screenshots are stored in the folder Garmin\Scrn.

    I accidentally discovered I could connect a USB cable with USB-C ends to the Edge 1040 and my Pixel Phone and transfer the screenshots.  I don't know if this is supposed to work or not for everyone, but it works fine for me.  Trying to transfer large files does not work as you will get a timeout.  

    Why can't Garmin transfer screenshots via the regular sync? That would be awesome!!
