Text Responses missing

My Edge 1040 does not show the text responses I created in connect (android) anymore. Instead it shows some standard responses. Syncing does not help. Also ceating new ones does not help, neither does deleting.
The same issue existed on the Fenix 7/Enduro 2 watches and has already been corrected in the beta version SW 21.11 (Fixed custom text responses resetting to default.). See: forums.garmin.com/.../21-09-text-responses-missing

Same for me. Can't figure out how to get them on the 1040 again even though they show up in the Connect app on my phone.

I didn't. Even removed the 1040 from my devices and reconnected it. Still can't get them to l show on the 1040. Sure wish someone had an answer as I use this feature pretty much every ride. Guess most don't but it's important to me and is supposed to work.

Yes I use the feature all the time and I have done all the disconnecting and reconnecting and nothing works, It seems every time Garmin do a software update some features stop working hopefully they will issue a fix

Still playing around with this issue trying to resolve it. Tried moving one of the "MORE RESPONSES" choices Garmin offer in the "Text Response" page into the "RESPONSES ON DEVICE" group and they also don't show up on the 1040. So no luck there either. Not that I expected that to work as I think it's breakdown between the phone and the 1040 and a programing issue for Garmin to fix.

Does anyone have a suggestion to share for me/us to try?

I'm hoping this message in the 1050 forum about the same problem means Garmin is also working on correcting it on the 1040.

Yeah, since about 2 updates ago, mine completely stopped working. Just the standard pre-programed ones on the device, can't seem to sync my custom ones over to my device anymore.

I have updated to 28.20 and the ability to have custom text responses is back! Now if I could remember all of the ones I previously added.
