Edge 1040 with 27.30. Climbs pro wrong

Just updated to latest stable firmware and climb pro is drunk. On a long and constant road downhill how can it create such a graph?!?

    Same here, although it wasn't completely off. I noticed this while navigating back to the starting point yesterday. The climbs started at the wrong time about like this:

    Actual start of the climb - edge reports "climb in ~50-100m"

    Then the graph laggs behind just as much, while the small % number indicating the grade stays correct.

    ~50-100m after the climb ends - edge reports end of climb.

    Might be in normal course navigation mode as well, but I only noticed it after I let the edge reroute back to the start

    @kopfsalat Were you following a course that was imported to Garmin Connect from an external source such as Strava, RWGPS, plotaroute? The GC sync mechanism currently causes this kind of symptoms for me as well. Not an Edge problem but a GC problem. Workaround is copying the FIT file directly to the Edge via USB or duplicate the synced course in GC, which will update the elevation data.
