I create courses from two 'recently found' points on the device as a quick way to check the routing performance, as once there was a horrible bug that created routes over 100mi long (around the SF bay area). Still some fixes needed to make a 1040 as good as a 10yr old 1000, but 'work in progress'.
It used that the first 'recent point' chosen would take you to a map, but that point wasn't selected, and you had to move the pin on the map to be able to select it. The next point would work as expected.
I just tested 27.12 and happy to report the first pin is now correctly being selected, as expected.
They ARE working on fixes, not only superfluous bells and whistles. GREAT!
