I turned off this underpowered solution after a month of use. As it turns out, as the author of the danger report, I couldn't then remove it when it was no longer valid. What's more - you can report dangers without having the option to display/warn about them enabled at all, and what comes with that - the inability to remove them by negating their existence.
The inability to set an alert radius or the inability to delete even custom notifications makes this feature an unnecessary addition.
You can disable them under the Alerts menu. After being bombarder by all kinds of nonsense hazards and dangerous animals which are never there, or it's a dog behind a fence (so who cares), I've turned it off. Sometimes when making a route on GC I see the hazards on the route, and just shake my head. There's no point in having 3 hazards within a radius of 20 meter. I also get hazards over bumps in the road that are not noticeable, and then no hazard when you get to a pothole in a blind corner that must've been there for ages. For now the idea is nice, but it just doesn't work at the moment.
