Edit odometer with Garmin Edge 1040

Hi everyone, after resetting the device, the Total km of all activities were deleted.
I tried to modify the Totals.fit file with FIT CSV Tool, converting it to CSV, modifying the fields and converting it to FIT. I put the new Totals.fit file in the NewFiles folder, but nothing changes. All the Km remain at zero.
Can someone explain to me if it is possible to do it or if it does it for me?

Fantastic, thank you very much. It works. Only the number of runs is missing but it's fine anyway. Can you please explain to me how I can do it by myself because in the meantime today I did a 86.07 km road bike ride, in 3 hours and 39 minutes with 2900 kal burned. thank you very much again.

I've been checking here repeatedly since yesterday - no answer from you yet - if you don't tell me your final entries, I can't support you and I assume the problem has been solved by you yourself (a corresponding note would be helpful).
