I recently bough a brand new Edge 1040.
My unit doesn't turn on the screen backlight under any settings (Settings -> System -> Screen):
- In "Auto" mode nothing happens, even if the luminosity bar moves.
- In "Manual" mode, even if I set it to 100%, nothing happens.
I already did the unit reset and problem stays the same.
I always had other Edge units. I also searched here in the forum to similar situations, but didn't find any.
I just want to have sure there is nothing else I can test/try before I return this damaged unit.
