garmin 1040 does booth properly load 26.17....or not all....

is anybody experiencing same problem? Garmins edge 1040 was working fine till the automatic firmware update resulted in garmid that could not be boothed any longer.

There are worser problems in the world but frustrating toexerience this just before the start of a ride.

Any suggestions how I should get the 1040 boothing properly?

Try plug it in to a PC, then it may start when it detects power

so far no success, managed to get it in MTP mode, synchronised successfully but still does not booth, keeps looping....
