Problem with Hear Rate Monitor

I keep getting the error message:

Heart Rate Sensor Found New sensor detected "xx.xx.xx.xx.xx" Switch connection from HR42371

The message comes back whether I press OK or cancel. I can't get out of the loop.

I have not changed the HR sensor, but I did get a new phone (not yet paired with Edge). Also, I updated the Edge firmware recently (1-2 weeks ago).

Help!!!!

You might try turning off the old HRM on the 1040. You might also try deleting it from the 1040.

Thanks for the response. What is puzzling is that there is only one HRM (a Polar OH1), but I think it switched from ANT to BLE (or viceversa). Not sure why.

I was able to get out of the loop where the devices always returned to the same message by holding the power button for 10 seconds. The HRM is working now, under the new name.
