Why the Garmin Edge won't find my chest strap even though the Garmin Fenix 8 does ?

The Garmin Edge 1040 won't find my chest strap, even though my Garmin Fenix watch doesn't have a problem. For ANT+, it tells me that the connection is not encrypted. I am registered in the BETA program

I wasn't sure that it has been released yet, but is it an HRM-200? If so, the encrypted connection option probably isn't available on the 1040.
