I am having some problems connecting my InfoCrank IC2 to my Edge 1040 using Bluetooth and I wondered if anyone else had similar issues connecting to Bluetooth devices? The crank initially says it has connected but then seems to disconnect a split second later and then this cycle continues over and over again.
My crank has gone back to Verve and they have said that they are working on a solution. Apparently the problem only exists with Garmin and not with other head units and they are suggesting that the Garmin somehow blocks the crank once you have tried to connect it. This seems very strange to me but electronics can be strange and I don't pretend for one second to be an expert on Bluetooth/Ant+ connections.
I'd be really grateful if any of you have any ideas/information that could help me solve the problem. If not it looks like I will have to look for another powermeter option.
