i have just upgraded to 1040 from my old original edge explore, mainly use for navigation. but i find the mapping on the new 1040 not as easy to read and visually not as easy to see / read the map page, as my old explore.
Eg busy roads are clearly in yellow on the explore and on the 1040 there similar to dotted line like a railway, so when there is a railway , its all way too similar. Also when navigating the highlighted line which you are following, is the same colour - magenta, as the popularity lines on the whole map page, all very confusing when trying to navigate. Is there anyway to download the original map from the explore to 1040? I only upgraded as the battery on the explore is not great.
