Version 25.24 (Japan) endless loop

Same thing here on a 25.25 / Edge 1040 Solar! The unit is unusable. This has started yesterday.

I've chatted with Chris on the support today. He said that Garmin is aware of the issue and that there's no available workaround as of now, and that he would add me to the ticket so that I would know when there's any update.

I've sent him some files by using Garmin Connect. Let's see.

Current status of the device is that when doing the factory reset, the unit works for a while, but after some time it does power off suddenly and enters the reboot cycle. Sometimes (but not always - which forces me to factory reset again) it is possible to interrupt that cycle by powering it off and on manually, but eventually it will enter the cycle after some minutes. 

Btw, just saw that there's a yellow note on the top of the forum now:

"We are aware of users who are seeing boot loops or devices being stuck on the Garmin logo when trying to start GPS activities. We understand the impact of this disruption and are currently investigating a cause and will remove this message when a resolution is found. 

Thank you all for your patience as we work to resolve this."

in my case, it is only the 1040 settings page, the rest of the app works fine.
