FTP don´t starts

hello,

I want to start the FTP-Test at first time. When I open the window for FTP the three points appeared, but there is no "start-button,"

So I can´t start the test.

    there is no longer "FTP test" function in newly updated software of Garmin Edge - see here https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/cycling/f/edge-1040-series/397948/edge-1040-series-version-25-25---live

    You can still simulate an FTP test manually, for example in this way

    1) Switch on "Auto-detect FTP"

    2) Write down your current 20-min max power from your Power Curve, for reference

    3) Set your FTP manually quite low, e.g. 100 W, so that it updates after the test anyways

    4) Ride 20 mins at your current reference 20-min power + X extra watts (try e.g. +20), or any other (lower) power you can sustain until end of 20-min ride

    5) Finish and save the ride, and see what's your updated auto-detected FTP value now.    

    Of course some 20-30 min easy warm-up before you hit Step 4 is needed, but you are probably aware of it.
