Hello, The Shimano STEP sensor on my ebike makes the edge 1040 unusable when activated during a route tracking only (displays very very slowly, it has trouble calculating the route). @mcinner1 found a solution in the meantime for me by deactivating the Shimano STEP sensor and using the garmin IQ "ebike Field" which then displays the motor battery level.
So there is a problem between the Shimano STEP sensor (renamed "Shimano ebike" now) and the Edge 1040. Gentlemen at Garmin, can you fix this connection problem? Please consider my request!
