Climb Explore shows no climbs

I just upgraded to a 1040, updated the firmware and loaded the latest North America maps.

The Climb Explorer widget does not detect any climbs in my area. I expanded the distance to 55 miles, changed the minimum difficulty to un-categorized, and it still does not show any climbs. I know there are multiple cat 2-4 climbs within that distance.

What do I need to do? What am I doing wrong?

One strange thing is that the map manager shows shading for central America and not for North America.

It sounds like the maps are not correct for the region you are in.

I would suggest using the map manager in Garmin Express to uninstall the maps its shows as being on the unit and then install the maps for your region again.

Thank you. That was the problem. For some reason, the maps had not downloaded properly.
