Rides always save as gravel

  1. When my rides upload to GC and Strava they always save as a gravel ride, even though I'm mostly using my road profile ? I have 4 profiles that I use, regardless of which one that I use, everyone saves as gravel which means I have to keep editing the rides post save. 

Anyone else seen this?

    what is the ride type on the profile you are suing when you edit your profile in the page you can setup  your data screen you have a ride type and if that is set to gravel then even if the profile name is road it would not matter. 

    if you copied your profile to make the others and the ride type is gravel then all profiles will be saved a gravel.
