Managing maps on my Edge 1040

Hi all,

I recently received a (used) Edge 1040. A lovely upgrade to the Edge 830 I was used to use.

I am having an issue with updating maps:

  • Europe TopoActive maps are now split into 3, but my device came with the all-in-one version.

  • Via Garmin express I was able to install the 3 maps.

However, my unit is still trying to update the one map. Killing my battery along the way.

What can I do?
