wifi sync upload

The 1040 connects to my wifi acces point and with the new firmware 24.18 update it downloaded ok with the wifi connection.

But with the installed new firmware the activity upload by wifi still not working.

Please Garmin fix this.

Full reboot. This has always been an issue. It also sometimes seems to get confused with Bluetooth phone connections with Garmin connect and also the wifi one. Sometimes i need to turn both connections off then just wifi. Sometimes I need a full power off sometimes not. The 1030 was exactly the same. It’s not just a 24.18 issue I can assure you. In fact I updated yesterday after a long time of issues and my first ride uploaded perfectly for a change.

what is a full reboot vs. half a reboot? I dont recognize this command. Did you intend to say "power off the unit"? do you mean some other command buried in the settings?

Yes full power off and turn on. Not just the “standby” from a quick press of the on/off button. Hold the button until you get the screen which says power off.
