Edge 1040 wont connect to RTl515

New RTL515 fully charged and firmware updated.

Edge1040 firmware up to date.

Attempting to connect using the method described in manual - 1040 does not find the RTL515.

I have an Edge 1030 which connects to the RTL515 no problem.

Any ideas as to how I can "force" a connection please?

Update....

After resetting the RTL515 numerous times (holding the key for 8 seconds) the Edge 1040 has finally recognised the RTL515.

Why is it so hard!!??
