Heartrate broadcast doesn’t work anymore with forerunner 955

This morning i did a ride and forgot my hrm belt. So i wanted to broadcast my heartrate from my Forerunner 955 solar as is did a few times before . It just couldn’t connect with my Edge 1040. I deleted the original connection and tried to search for it in the settings. It just doesn’t seem to work anymore. It won’t connect 

any ideas, execpt fot not forgetting my belt?

    I've had problems connecting my Fenix 6 with the Edge. Sometimes, often after a break in a ride, the Edge doesn't find the Fenix HR anymore. I have to restart both devices in order to be able to connect again. Othertimes, the connection suddenly restores itself.

    Not sure if this is the same problem, but I'd try rebooting both devices, and trying both ANT+ (usually more stable) and BLE connections from the watch.
