Is there any way to disable the alert beeps/tones/songs for Strava Live Segments on the Edge 1040?
I would love it if we had more granular control over the beeps in general. For example, I always want to hear the beeps for turn-by-turn navigation when I'm following a course/route.
But I NEVER want to hear the little Live Segment beeps and songs that play—they're cute, but yeah, no thanks. (I would also like to turn off beeps for messaging notifications, but that's less important to me.)
Unless I'm missing something, the only way to disable Live Segment tones is to completely turn off ALL tones, which is a bummer.
Is there any way to more granularly control which tones are enabled and which tones are disabled?
For such an expensive device this should included.
All competition have it, why not Garmin?
