Water POIs

Hi all,

I have both the Edge 1040 Solar as well as the Epix Gen 2 - I love the Edge for navigating, especially for long-distance touring. One thing I don't understand is that - whilst the symbols (POIs) on the map are very useful (fuel stations, shops, etc) - I'm struggling to understand why the POIs for water fountains in particular (which are available on the Epix) aren't activated on the Edge's map. The data is clearly available - there some way to activate this, or is this simply a Garmin thing?

It would also be nice to deactivate some other POIs - car parks for a cyclist aren't particularly helpful.
