4iiii power meter drains Garmin Edge 1040

Hi there,

I installed a 4iiii Power meter Ultegra and notice that my Garmin Edge 1040 Solar draines more than usual.

Might be that I chose the wrong connection? I can connect the Power Meter via either ANT+ or BLE.

Now I have ANT+ installed.

Which of both uses the less possible energy of my Garmin Edge 1040 Solar?

I also have a 4iiii power meter, but I don't have the problem you are having, I only use ant+

I have a problem when putting the 1040 to sleep, when it comes out of sleep it cannot find the power sensor, despite the forced synchronization of the sensors while all the others are recognized, I am therefore obliged to turn off and restart the 1040 each time, meaning that at the very beginning this problem did not exist.

It is the Garmin unit that I own which has been the most problematic, it is going out of warranty and this GPS is still not free of bugs... it has become stressful to go on a long journey with this 1040, each long ride is a collection of new bugs and laughs with the friends who ride with me...
