View satellites & GPS accuracy

A few GPS features I'm missing after switching from the Edge-1000 to the Edge-1040… The Edge-1000 had a screen to “View satellites”. This showed both information available satellites, and also information about GPS accuracy in feet or metres. Because GPS signal strength ≠ GPS accuracy.

There's a very cool “GPS Accuracy” widget on GIQ, but it hasn't been updated since Oct 2020. Ironically it works great in the Edge-1000, which has that functionality built-in (albeit without the cool graphics of that widget), but the widget is not available for Edge-1040.

Why has this functionality not been included in the 1040?
