My 1040 is due to be delivered today, and I just had an email from my online supplier telling me the 1050 is available!!

Still, the 1050 is £210 more expensive (+33%) and is unlikely to function correctly until late 2025.

Haha. Yes right approach. Bought a 1040 for £230 less than the 1050 list price and it was still and expensive bike computer! But I'm broadly happy. Hoping some menu improvements trickle down.

Why is the price difference so great? Garmin.com shows $699 USD for 1050, and $599 USD for the 1040, which would be around 80 British pounds difference....

They are selling them off I think, they only cost $200 to make.
