How to use 21.17 with AXS?

Hello! I have the SRAM GX AXS system as well as a Garmin Edge 1040 Solar. I just downloaded the 21.17 update today. How do I navigate to the AXS option on the unit? Thanks.

Total guess, I think the "Added support for button control and trim adjustments for SRAM AXS shifting systems" as part of the 21.16 update is limited to SRAM Red AXS shifters with the Bonus Buttons (2024 version).

And SRAM provides a brief summary of Bonus Buttons: What Are Bonus Buttons and How to Use Them

I tried setting up SRAM AXS integration with SRAM AXS Rival and the "ANT+ Control" doesn't show up in the SRAM AXS mobile app, which I assume is because SRAM AXS Rival doesn't have bonus buttons (but does have the pairing buttons in addition to the lever buttons; would love to see the option to use the lever pairing buttons to control my Garmin Edge 840).
