Power reading

Since downloading software version 21.16 to my Garmin 1040 it is no longer reading power from my quarq power meters (I have quarq on two bikes. I have switched back to my Wahoo as I can not find any solution!

Help!

Thanks for responses, I have SRAM Quarq DM Red AXS D1 Power meter. Originally I just connected with pairing to my Garmin 1040, I don't know whether it was through ANT or BLE, I have now removed the device…

Are you using ANT or BLE for the power meter pairing. 21.17 was released to fix communication over BLE for sensors that don't implement some of the security protocols.

Was using ANT, so I now need to connect via BLE?

with 21.17b the BLE should ok with Quarq Dzero/AXS (the ANT+ was ok prior it, at least different sensors...). Or do you have the Rival single-sided version? 1131714 and you?

Originally I just connected with pairing to my Garmin 1040, I don't know whether it was through ANT or BLE, I have now removed the device and made a new pairing, but the only option it gave was with BLE, it now works with the bike on the stand, so hopefully next time on the bike it will be OK.
