Garmin 1040 Music Control for Garmin 945

I use my 1040 for cycling rides. I use my 945 watch for heart rate and music. Can I use music control on my 1040 to change my 945 I use for music on rides?

No, you can’t connect the 1040 to your 945 that way. It will only receive data from your watch, in that case the ANT+ HR Stream.
