SW 21.16 sensors disconnecting/connecting

Since the update my sensors are connecting and disconnecting insesantly...including the DI2. I have tried to remove and add the sensors (except the DI2).

Are there any workarouns ? I an really upset with this... was not planning to update now, but curiosity to test the "send location from apple map" took over me...

    I’m having the same issue. AXS power meter not showing power. It’s fine in the sram app but not on my Garmin 840. Happened right after update. Do any Garmin reps read these post and chime in how to fix??

    My stages PM drops out every few minutes (BLE). Seems the best bet is to upgrade to 21.17 or use ANT+ instead.

    This is simply terrible when using the device as a training tool. None of the sensor values from my last rides are useful due to these dropouts.

    I spoke to Garmin Reps today they don’t seem to know there are forums out here. Ridiculous

    I agree, it's really not great. I probably shouldn't tempt fate, but to date I've been lucky; with 21.16, everything appeared normal after the install. Everything connected. 

    However, the first time I actually rode was a race. No power during the warm up, even though the Assiomas were shown as connected. removed sensor --> re-added. Still no power. Turned device off and rebooted - voila. It's been fine ever since, and my two other PMs have never been a problem (though they may have been, before that reboot - I'll never know, obviously). 

    Anyway, I think the point is that it's possibly not so much a repeatable bug as an instability that causes unpredictable behaviour. I know a lot of you have tried everything right up to and including factory resets, but it may be worth repeating these. I was on my THIRD factory reset in one evening recently with a different issue, before I actually go a setup that worked.

    Was actually in the process of getting my 1040 replaced when this started. I got a brand new one yesterday that I set up and updated to latest FW (21.16 currently) and the behavior was the exact same - My PM from Stages drops out for several seconds every few minutes so I loose power and cadence. 

    So seems to be pretty consistent in my case at least.

    Corrected: I used BLE - Have now switched to ANT+ and hopefully this fixes the issue for now.

    same here, terrible situation since FW 21.16 with sensor connectivity in all of my setups - including only connecting one Garmin HR pro. very unhappy

    To add something painful to this discussion, during the weekend, I had 2 reboots...rarely had this before..On the positive side, Di2 buttons and VARIA Radar worked flawless...

    After the new update BLE with my Stages does not work.

    Dropouts every minute.

    Solution: delete Stages on my Garmin device. added it new with ANT+ Connection. No Drop Outs after this...

    Hope this Info helps guys
