FW 21.16 features that were not in beta

  • Added support for button control and trim adjustments for SRAM AXS shifting systems
  • Added the ability to send and share locations from Apple Maps

Is trimming now also supported on DI2? I looked for it on Sunday on 21.14 and didn’t see anything in sensor settings. I also can’t see anything on 21.16 on my AXS groupset.

How does send and share from Apple Maps work? Would be awesome to search for something on the Phone and transfer it as routing target via BT while recording an activity

    Update:
    To send and share locations from Apple Maps, you use the Apple share system. It offers Garmin Connect Mobile, there you can select wich device. After choosing the Edge it will give you a PinPoint on the map with the option to start routing.

    It is more of an GCM feature and less of the Edge, this was update recently and the feature is also available for Garmin watches like my Epix.

    The change log is a very odd collection of mostly “fixes” about 35, I guess very welcome if people had a specific issue that is fixed but I couldn’t identify anything that would benefit me, perhaps ii am just odd or maybe “special”. There are other changes in 20.16 but not listed in the log, guess we will discover them but I can’t understand why they include some things in the log but not others. This discussion over a month ago identified some fairly significant changes to climbpro settings that never got into the log.

    Same for me. I can’t see trimming on AXS or DI2. Nor do I see button control on AXS, but I don’t own the new RED or satellite shifters.
