unit control with blippers or New Red group

Hey Garmin

did try to find some clues on the big WWW... but no one to be found?
are we getting what we all want, with the new Red group or with blippers in olders group sets?

Turn pages ect. with third party buttons ?

Close to be the only one not confirmed is garmin :/

I think It needs an update of the SRAM software and some configuration in the AXS app then you should get some additional options under the SRAM sensor on the Edge.

Unfortunately I don't have an AXS system so I'm not sure of the fully process. I just saw the change under the Garmin change log.

It did came up on the edge unit! And I can map the function on the unit. But only add, not change or config it.

But its a start

Mapping your Red AXS Bonus buttons or AXS Wireless Blips

Red AXS Bonus buttons

In the SRAM AXS app, map

Left Blip Short/Long Press to ANT+ Function 1.
Right Blip Short/Long Press to ANT+ Function 2.
Simultaneous Short Press to ANT+ Function 3

AXS Wireless Blips

In the SRAM AXS app, map

Left Blip Short Press to ANT+ Function 1.
Right Blip Short Press to ANT+ Function 2.
Simultaneous Short Press to ANT+ Function 3.

For Shimano on the Edge you can assign each function to an action. I would guess it is similar.

Seems to work

Would be Nice tho to be able to make a short press change gear, and long press to control unit.

But doesnt seem to be able to do so. I either gear change or unit control

Now that the Edge remote is mfg discontinued it would be great if we could use a SRAM AXS Blip to cycle through Edge 1040 screens. Even better if press went one way and long press went the opposite. In my case AXS XPLR Rival group.
