Charging has ceased from the USB port. Has previously worked reliably.
Tried different cables and confirmed they all work with other USB C devices. I think the internal charging circuit might have failed but would like to explore all options.
Should we fix your non-functioning usb port for you on the forum? For what purpose are you writing about it here instead of contacting a garmin distributor in your area/region.
Don't you know that there are 1040s that malfunction in terms of charging and sometimes burn? Mine was replaced for this reason, charging port which heated suddenly and it no longer charged after this overheating.
