Sensors Not Connecting Without Reboot

Recently updated my 1040+ Solar to 20.19 (latest) and am noticing that when starting a ride, none of my sensors will connect.  I have to then reboot the device, which then connects to all of my available sensors.  I only recently started noticing this after the latest update.

I usually connect a Garmin HRM, Speed sensor and either a stages or 4iiii power meter.  All devices use ANT+.

happy to talk directly to folks to help debug.

  • I have been having the same issue for ages, and made a post about it a couple of days ago. Out of interest, are you using any Connect IQ data fields or apps? When I uninstalled the Map Dashboard data field, everything started working again. Not an ideal solution to be honest, but at least I don't have to reboot constantly anymore.

  • Interesting, I am using that IQ app.  I’m going to uninstall it and see if that resolves things.  Thanks!

  • I don't have this application and I have the same disconnection problems when the 1040s has been in standby for a while, it's impossible to reconnect the 4iiii power sensor, I have to restart everything
