Activity file does not open in history

Hello,
I recorded and finished my 60k ride this morning.


I gave my score to the self evaluation and long loading cursor appeared.


After waiting for a very long time, I turned it off and on again and my ride appears in the history section, but it does not open. It says 'Failed to load ride details'.


I tried using some repair programs but I always got errors.


Is there anyone who can help with this?

    I have the same problem. All datas set to 0 and date to 31 dec 1989

    I found a way to recover the data of the activity. You have to:

    • download the SDK at this link https://developer.garmin.com/fit/download/ , unzip it and open the Java folder to search ActivityRepairTool.bat (not .jar)
    • verify you have Java version 8+ (I hope you don’t have a Mac because it’s super difficult)
    • connect your Edge to the PC and look for the activity .fit file and drag&drop it upon the ActivityRepairTool.bat
    • windows defender will probably block the attempt, just click on more information and tell him to f*** off and Run anyway. 
    • Upload the repaired file as an activity to Garmin Connect webpage
