Using Di2 buttons for eBike power control feature

Hi

I recently traded in a Hammerhead Karoo 2 for a Garmin 1040.

Regarding the handling of an ebike, with the garmin I can now increase or decrease the power of the Mahle x20 engine it incorporates, without having to use the button on the frame of the bike.

It would be very interesting if this function could be extended to the di2 dfly buttons.

Also, on the other computer, the information on the ebike's potentiometer is more detailed, differentiating between the power of the engine and the power of the cyclist, or a combination of both.

Thanks,

  • I'm in the same boat.  Would love to have this option.  Seems like a pretty easy add; the 1040 can already adjust ebike assist levels, the buttons can already affect functions that the 1040 has.  Just join the two up and bam! I've saved $85 and kept my cockpit that much cleaner.  Garmin?
