Time of Day Incorrect - Ongoing Issue [RESOLVED]

Any comment could risk lese-majesty, did the incorrect time & / or the Sunrise issue start at the same point or have they always been thus on your unit? While your beta reports on this had a few +1 the lack of "my too" comments would indicate a very rare occurrence, maybe only yours? Perhaps a unit fault requiring a warranty replacement?

PS strange that garmin just marked it as "complete" without a ticket being raised or any apparent investigation?

At this point I think I'll tap out reporting anything further within this whole Garmin EDGE forum/beta program for a while. It's nice having access to the cutting edge features. It's very frustrating trying to contribute bugs/issues/suggestions only to be, as pointed out above, ignored/stonewalled by Garmin.  

Yes, know exactly what you mean, I spent an enormous amount of time on both the 19.x & 20.x betas and fortunately the two major issues that impact my 1040 usage were either directly addressed or accidentally “fixed” so I can also take a holiday from betas unless something of real benefit is offered.

Thank you! That has resolved the issue with both the local_timestamp and the sunrise/sunset reporting on the 1040 Solar I have here.

it's now available on watches, then it should be released widely to all type of devices.

Incredible that even GPLama), a legend in the world of cycling, does not get Garmin's attention when reporting issues. Garmin should embrace feedback from high end contributors such as GPLama) and dcrainmaker

I may have their attention.. but what I'm reporting/complaining about might not be in-line with their priorities internally at the time. I could raise support tickets allllll day long. It doesn't end well for me though.
