Tour not saved after update to 20.19

Hello, I have a problem after the software update to 20.19. I cycled a tour today and saved the tour at the end. I checked some values in the overview on the Edge and then opened my app on my mobile phone to see more details. Unfortunately, the tour was not synchronised. When I tried to call up the tour on the Edge, I realised that it hadn't been saved there either. Interestingly, the data on the training status is displayed on the Edge, but this could also have been saved via Move IQ. The tour is also missing from the folder on the Garmin. Does anyone have any ideas or is the error known? BR Nils

  • I had a similar issue with my Edge Explore 2 after upgrading to beta software version 20.07. It appeared that the activity was saved in the folder ..\Garmin\TempFIT. After transfer of the activity file to ..\Garmin\Activities the activity synched normally to Garmin Connect.
    Remarkable thing was that this error only occurred twice - on later rides everything behaved as normal. Cannot remember if I resetted the device to factory defaults, or resetted the soft way by pressing and holding the power button for 20 seconds, or maybe even no reset at all - just only power down and re-use the next day.
    Note that in the changelog of 1040 software version 20.13 there was a mention about a synching error due to a timing problem being solved. Maybe the error returned in version 20.19?

  • Please report this issue to Garmin. Clearly a bug that should be repaired.
