measurements

hi, i was wondering could someone measure their 1040 for me and tell me the distance from the centre of the mount tab to the bottom edge of the unit, i'm considering upgrading from a 530, have several bikes and really cant be bothered if i'd have to change mounts, including Cervelo Garmin mount, Enve mount and so on...So i suppose i'm looking for the minimum bar to centre of mount measurement the 1040 would fit on, thanks....

It’s 56mm but you need at least 60 to account for the diagonal distance when you twist it in the mount, a supplied mount on the stem works, but better if it’s more level, you also get another long out front mount in the box. A few more mm if you use a rubber case / cover.

Depending on how recessed the mount is, you might also need a bit of space to fit your fingers to access the buttons at the bottom end of the unit.
