Activity history problem on FR945 coming from edge 1040 after sync with GC mobile android

I have just noticed that since March 1st I can no longer look at the activity statistics on FR945, before March 1st it works perfectly.
I don't understand where the problem comes from, because the history comes from the edge 1040 after syncing the FR945 with Garmin connect android.
I noticed this, because yesterday the FR945 told me that I had a detraining status, and beforehand it indicated me as resting, whereas on the edge 1040s I have a productive status.
To summarize when I look at the history on the FR945 I see the activities with the kilometers and the time spent for this activity, but as soon as I want to consult the complete statistics of the activity by pressing the top left button on the FR945 , it remains blocked and I don't see any statistics, since March 1st.
The FR945 therefore no longer analyzes the new activities of the edge 1040 after sync since March 1.
I did 2 complete resets (data + parameters) then erased the FR945 from GC mobile, then redo the pairing procedure, after sync the problem is still present.
Is this a problem with the edge 1040 or the FR945? Because in 3 years this is the first time that I have noticed this problem on the FR945, while the edge 1040 is rather, how can I put it, a walking bug...

  • Hi Raphnou,
Yes exactly the same problem with my Fenix 6 Pro. I think the problem is related to the  latest software upgrade to the Edge 1040. It's totally frustrating a there doesn't seem a straight-forward approach to reporting it to Garmin and getting it sorted.
I would really appreciate it if you get a solution if you could let me know.
    Thanks
    Fabian

  • I have a ticket open with Garmin on this

  • I have lost all confidence in Garmin's ability to resolve issues quickly on this Edge 1040, Garmin introduces more bugs than they fix.
When will we be able to use this equipment that costs a fortune in a safe way?
I have recently had 3 bugs in mind, please report this to Garmin.
    - Very poor altimeter in rainy conditions, it freezes after the first summit reached.
here is an activity where this happened
    connect.garmin.com/.../14331171510
    - When the 1040 is on standby for a certain time, and when I wake it up to go back on the course, the sensors (4iiii power, garmin speed, garmin varia, garmin hrm) connect briefly for 2 seconds then they all disconnect , impossible to reconnect them, the only solution I found is to completely turn off the 1040 and in these conditions the sensors connect, but thus losing the trace history, it's frustrating.

  • I just checked on my Fenix 7 - I have a ride recorded with Edge1040 on Sunday, 10th of March. I can see it in the activities list on my watch. I can also trigger the "all stats" option and it shows me all the details

  • Still not working on my Fenix 6. Yesterday I contacted Garmin Support on-line explaining my problem to Philip and Jason. They advised a ticket would be raised  and to date not a thing happening and no notification of a ticket.
I used the Edge 1040 on a ride this morning and the Climbpro was way off. It was totally inaccurate. My Fenix 6 Pro has the ride under "Last Activity" depress the upper L button to view details and nothing
