I updated my Edge 1040 and now my Fenix 6 cannot access Last Activity details

I installed the software update on my Garmin Edge 1040, which uploads my ride activities to my Garmin Fenix 6 Pro

i now find following this update that when I go to review the activity on my Fenix 6 via under Last Activity it will not open.

However I can still review those activities undertaken prior to when I installed the software upgrade on the Garmin Edge 1040

All activities from March 1, before March 1 it works.

I just checked on my Fenix 7 - I have a ride recorded with Edge1040 on Sunday, 10th of March. I can see it in the activities list on my watch. I can also trigger the "all stats" option and it shows me all the details
