Outing in the rain...

The edge 1040 is still bad, the altimeter got stuck in rainy conditions, you can see that the altitude graph is messing up, the starting point is at 274m and the arrival at the same place is found after 1h30 of cycling at 609m, it's curious because in these conditions it always gets stuck after the first descent. (4iiii power sensor, Varia, garmin speed sensor, hrm-run)
I had done Mont Ventoux, the ascent graph was correct, and on the descent, the same, the altimeter was blocked.
2 edge 1040 which have the same problems, hardware problem probably, I will therefore send this edge a second time.
The elevation correction via Garmin Connect is bad, this GPS is always unusable in the rain, the elevation gain data is also bad.
On the other hand, the Varia no longer poses a problem, no disconnection after the recent update of the edge and the varia, to be checked over time.
But now when the edge 1040 has been in standby for a long time, it no longer wants to connect to the sensors, I have to turn it off completely to be able to connect all the sensors, so on a long outing where I put the 1040 in standby during long pauses, I have to turn it off and thus lose track of the route.
